There are some places I love that I was shocked didn’t make the list. For restaurants with more than one location, they are combined and ranked where the highest rated location was. I took the top 20 highest-rated restaurants from the search “taco”. The rankings come from the review site Yelp and are based on the “highest rated” feature. My first step in this journey? To consult Yelp. I have now set out on a mission to determine the best taco restaurants in Charlotte. But how do you know which one to try? It can be tough to decide! I have my go-to favorites but what if I’m missing out on some that are even better? Turns out I might be. Whether you like authentic, fancy, or Americanized Mexican there is an option for you. Luckily there is no shortage of taco restaurants in Charlotte. Of course, it’s a Tuesday as well! But let’s be honest there is never a bad time for tacos. So, if you consider yourself brave enough it’s worth investigating. And, I happened to see a mention of a “tequila challenge” on their website. So, the bar crawl lets you sample margaritas, cocktails, tequila and delicious food all along the route.
